Fortnite is offering a free "The Siiimpsooooons..." weapon wrap to players as part of a limited-time event celebrating its collaboration with The Simpsons. This wrap, featuring the iconic clouds from the show's opening credits, is available for a short period and requires players to engage with Twitch streams.
To acquire the free wrap, players must watch at least 30 minutes of a Fortnite stream on Twitch that has the "Drops" tag enabled. Upon completion of the viewing period, a notification will appear on Twitch indicating eligibility for the reward. Players can then claim the wrap by navigating to the "Drops & Rewards" section of their Twitch profile, locating the Fortnite Reload campaign, and selecting "Claim."
The reward must be claimed from Twitch by Monday, August 10th, though eligibility through viewing ends on Monday, August 3rd. To ensure the wrap is transferred to Fortnite, players must link their Epic Games and Twitch accounts. This can be done by visiting the Epic Games website, navigating to account settings, and selecting "Linked accounts" to connect the Twitch profile.
Once accounts are linked and the reward is claimed on Twitch, it will automatically be sent to the player's Epic Games account and appear in their Fortnite locker. The event allows players to experience Springfield within the game and earn other themed rewards alongside the wrap.
