Rockstar Games has continued its marketing push for Grand Theft Auto 6, releasing a significant number of new screenshots that offer fans a closer look at the game's world and characters. These images arrive following a recent gameplay premiere and provide details on customization options, environmental design, and hints at narrative elements.
The newly shared screenshots, available on Rockstar's official website, cover a range of in-game activities and scenes. Among the approximately 99 images are depictions of robberies, vehicles, and social interactions within Vice City. While many of these images have been seen in lower quality or in motion, at least three are noted as entirely new.
Three particular images have generated notable fan discussion. One shows protagonists Jason and Lucia inside a vehicle, highlighting the game's character customization system. The image displays Lucia with various piercings and tattoos, alongside changes to Jason's appearance, suggesting extensive options for player character alteration. Another screenshot features a recognizable seaside condominium complex, identified by Florida residents as a recreation of Miami's Two Tequesta Point, underscoring Rockstar's attention to detail in crafting Vice City's modern urban landscape.
The third new image appears to offer a glimpse into a story mission, depicting Jason and Lucia overlooking a potential crime scene. This image, along with others showing the pair embracing amidst approaching police, raises anticipation for the game's narrative progression.
The release of these screenshots, coupled with recent reports of pre-order tabs appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online and ongoing discussions with Florida officials for marketing, reinforces the game's confirmed launch date. Grand Theft Auto 6 is slated for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
