Brandon Riegg, Netflix VP of nonfiction series, highlighted the cultural significance of Grand Theft Auto reveals and expressed honor in partnering with Rockstar Games to debut new content for Netflix members first. He stated that this partnership reflects Netflix's ambition to be a platform for "the most ambitious storytelling, from any medium, [to] find the biggest possible audience."
Grand Theft Auto VI is slated for release on November 19, 2026. Traditionally, Rockstar Games has offered hands-off previews months before a game's launch. However, information about GTA 6 thus far has been limited to two trailers and details accompanying pre-order editions. Parent company Take-Two Interactive had previously indicated that marketing efforts for the highly anticipated title would intensify over the summer. It remains to be seen if Rockstar Games will release further information or hold hands-on preview events for media prior to the game's launch.
