Grand Theft Auto 6 has reportedly been targeted by another significant leak, with apparent gameplay videos and an image of the game's complete map surfacing online. While Rockstar Games has not yet commented, the leaked assets reportedly point to a cryptocurrency and a website associated with a group identifying as 'CyberLeek.'

Two videos allegedly showcase GTA 6 gameplay, one featuring protagonist Jason engaged in a basketball activity outside a residence, and another depicting him driving a car and interacting with an NPC. Alongside these videos, an image purporting to be the full in-game map has also been distributed online. The origin and age of these assets remain unconfirmed.

The website linked to the alleged leaks outlines three demands directed at Rockstar Games and other major video game publishers. These demands appear to be a response to trends such as digital-only game releases, the inclusion of "fake" single-player downloadable content, and the removal of previously purchased single-player content. The group specifically criticizes the lack of a physical disc for GTA 6 and references the controversy surrounding The Crew, which became unplayable for purchasers after Ubisoft altered its servers.

CyberLeek's statement warns other video game publishers, implying that similar leaks could be orchestrated against them. "Publishers should beware," the group's manifesto concludes. "If CyberLeek can reach Rockstar, no one is safe. This is a message to all big corpo: behave, or be the next target."

Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive are reportedly working to remove the leaked video content from social media platforms. Concurrently, the memecoin advertised alongside the leaked assets has garnered significant attention, though concerns have been raised online about its potential as a cryptocurrency scam.

This latest alleged leak occurs shortly before the scheduled release of "Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look," a timed exclusive for Netflix set to debut on Thursday, August 27. The content will remain on Netflix for six hours before becoming available on other platforms, including YouTube.

Grand Theft Auto 6 has been subject to multiple leaks in the past. In 2022, over 90 videos and images from an early build of the game were leaked, constituting one of the largest security breaches in gaming history. At the time, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed frustration, stating, "We take leaks very seriously indeed and they disappoint all of us, it's really frustrating and upsetting to the team." The individual responsible for that leak, a British teenager, was recently released from a secure hospital and awaits a retrial.

In December 2023, the first official trailer for GTA 6 leaked on X/Twitter less than 24 hours before its planned premiere, prompting Rockstar to release the trailer officially on YouTube ahead of schedule. Developers at Rockstar conveyed their disappointment on social media, with Zelnick later calling the incident "disappointing" but ultimately not damaging to the game's prospects.

Earlier this year, in April, Rockstar confirmed a third-party data breach that accessed company information. However, the company maintained that this incident had "no impact on our organization or our players."

Grand Theft Auto 6 is slated for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026.
