The ongoing leak of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay footage has continued, with the leaker known as CyberLeek releasing additional videos and issuing a public statement to defend their cryptocurrency initiative.

Recent leaks include a video showcasing nightclub gameplay and another featuring the dual protagonist Jason cycling on a beach populated with non-player characters. These clips, like previous ones, prominently feature a watermark for the 'CyberLeek' token, which is at the center of the leaker's crypto scheme. This scheme is reportedly linked to a protest against an all-digital future for games and Rockstar's decision not to offer a physical disc version of GTA 6.

CyberLeek has also posted a watermarked message that reads, "Stop the hate. Channel that energy into protests. Not at those actually fighting for you. CL is taking huge risks in this battle. Leeks are free and donations cover operational costs. Using crypto is the only way. CL can’t win alone. Today is the day to show support and protest." The leaker has engaged in paid-for polls, allowing users to vote on future gameplay video content by spending tokens, with some users reportedly spending significant amounts.

Concerns persist that CyberLeek may release further spoilers, including a prologue video featuring the protagonist Lucia, though previous leaks have exclusively shown Jason. This activity follows Take-Two's attempts to identify the leaker by issuing subpoenas to Microsoft, Discord, and X (formerly Twitter).

Despite these efforts, Rockstar reportedly remains unaware of how the leaks occurred or who is responsible. While the upcoming Netflix reveal of GTA 6 gameplay is not expected to be altered, internal frustration and anger have been noted at Rockstar Games, with management reportedly sending morale-boosting emails to staff.

However, former Rockstar Games technical director Obbe Vermeij downplayed the impact of the current leaks, comparing them to the more damaging 'Hot Coffee' scandal from the company's past. Neither Take-Two nor Rockstar Games has officially commented on the ongoing leaks.
