Grand Theft Auto VI may be on the verge of a music-focused reveal, as a number of musicians have recently posted teasers that appear to be tied to the game. These cryptic posts have ignited fan theories that an official announcement regarding the game's soundtrack or musical content is imminent.
Country pop singer Morgan Wallen shared an image reminiscent of GTA's aesthetic, depicting a pool with no water. Rapper Travis Scott also contributed to the speculation by posting a GTA-inspired image of high heels on a pole, accompanied by the caption, "See yall soon," and tagging Rockstar Games. Fans previously noted potential GTA 6 references in one of Scott's music videos.
Further fueling the excitement, the record label Freebandz posted an image featuring a car with the license plate "VCE BBY," a likely nod to Leonida, the state in which GTA 6 is set. Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones also released a teaser, adding to the growing collection of artist-involved hints.
Music has consistently been a significant element in the Grand Theft Auto series, renowned for its extensive in-game radio stations that feature licensed tracks from a wide array of artists. Rumors have circulated that GTA 6 could include in-game radio stations hosted by prominent figures such as DJ Khaled and potentially Drake.
Grand Theft Auto VI is slated for release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
