Grand Theft Auto VI will not include a game disc, opting instead for a code-in-a-box release at launch. However, the highly anticipated title is set to receive a comprehensive soundtrack release on both CD and vinyl.
The soundtrack, featuring 34 tracks, will launch concurrently with the game on November 19. It will be available on streaming services and in physical formats. Several songs have already been released to promote the album, including "That's It" by Yung Lean featuring Future & Metro Boomin, "RHYNO" by Travis Scott, and "Sexy Magic" by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. & Etienne de Crécy. Other featured artists include Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, and Keith Richards.
Two vinyl editions will be exclusive to the game's official website, with additional unique variants available through retailers like Best Buy. Some of the music appears to be crafted to complement the action and narrative of the game, potentially reflecting the romance between protagonists Jason and Lucia, as suggested by the tone of Morgan Wallen's "Last Thing You Need."
With 28 songs yet to be revealed, Rockstar is expected to unveil more of the soundtrack's offerings leading up to the game's release.
