Hallmark has released a new Keepsake Ornament that replicates the translucent green Halo Special Edition Xbox console from 2004. This Amazon-exclusive collectible is available for $27.99 and measures 3.5 x 1.25 x 3.5 inches.
The ornament accurately portrays the original Xbox's chunky design, complete with "Halo Special Edition" lettering and a miniature controller connected by a cord. It also features a "Magic Light and Sound" function. When the power button is pressed, the ornament illuminates and plays the console's startup sound, followed by music from the "Halo Theme Mjolnir Mix" from Halo 2. Three Alkaline LR44 button batteries are included.
For those who prefer a non-Halo version, a standard Xbox Console Hallmark Keepsake Ornament, which debuted in 2024, is also available. Additionally, Hallmark's 2026 collection includes other gaming-themed ornaments such as a Halo Warthog, and items related to Pokémon and Zelda. A PlayStation 1 ornament is also offered.
In related news, Microsoft is launching a new translucent green Xbox Series X on November 13. However, this special edition console is limited to 25,000 units and has already sold out during its preorder phase.
