Hasbro and Nintendo have officially revealed the first wave of their new action figure collaboration, centered on characters from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The initial lineup includes detailed six-inch figures of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf, all of which are now available for preorder.
The figures are designed to capture the likeness of the characters as they appear in the series' latest open-world adventure. Link comes equipped with his signature green arm, a shield, and the Master Sword, along with an interchangeable Zonai power hand. Zelda includes a Decayed Master Sword, while Ganondorf wields a Gloom Sword that can be drawn from its scabbard. Each figure boasts over 20 points of articulation, allowing for a wide range of posing options.
Preorders for the Link and Zelda figures are set at $27.99 each. The Ganondorf figure, standing at seven-and-a-half inches tall, is priced at $42.99. All figures are expected to ship around May 1, 2027, though this date may be subject to change.
This collaboration marks a significant partnership between Hasbro and Nintendo, aiming to bring iconic Zelda characters to fans in toy form. Billy Lagor, president of Hasbro toys and board games, stated in a press release that the companies are combining Nintendo's storytelling with Hasbro's expertise in action figures to create toys that encourage play and exploration. This venture is described as a multi-year collaboration, suggesting further releases are planned.
The Legend of Zelda franchise has a rich history, and with the series recently celebrating its 40th anniversary, there is a wealth of iconic designs and characters for Hasbro to draw inspiration from for future toys. This announcement follows other recent Zelda-themed merchandise, including a Lego set depicting a scene from Ocarina of Time and a deluxe vinyl release of the Breath of the Wild soundtrack.
A live-action Legend of Zelda film is also slated for release on April 30, 2027.
