Hot Toys has released an official sixth-scale figure of Wolverine, based on his appearance in Insomniac Games' Marvel's Wolverine. The figure showcases Logan in his signature black-and-yellow "Battle Reborn" costume.
The collectible features seamless silicone arms and an internal metal skeleton for enhanced articulation and durability. It includes a variety of interchangeable components, allowing collectors to customize Wolverine's appearance. While an unmasked head sculpt is not provided, the figure comes with alternate eye-plates and lower face pieces to adjust expressions. Collectors can also swap between two sets of cowl wing-flaps, depicting different stages of battle damage. The suit itself is rendered in textured material and is complemented by forearm gauntlets, a utility belt, and soft vinyl boots.
The figure offers multiple options for Wolverine's iconic Adamantium claws, including scarlet and diamond versions, with attachable translucent slashing motion effects for dynamic posing. A carved katana ornament, inspired by the "Last Stand at Cold Pines" mission, is also included.
Two versions of the figure are available: a standard edition priced at $285 and a deluxe edition for $375. The deluxe version includes an exclusive statue bust of Omega Red for display dioramas, complete with two wire-embedded Carbonadium tentacles that can be coiled around the Wolverine figure.
This release follows Hot Toys' previous collaborations with Insomniac Games, which included various Marvel's Spider-Man figures featuring Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and alternate suits like Spider-Punk and Spider-Man 2099. Hot Toys has also produced numerous Wolverine figures in the past, primarily focusing on the movie versions portrayed by Hugh Jackman. Beyond Marvel, the company's Video Game Masterpiece line has also featured characters from titles such as Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Fortnite.
