Pokémon Pokopia features 14 legendary and mythical Pokémon, with some appearing only briefly while others can be recruited to reside on your island. These powerful creatures significantly impact your island's Environment Level, making them valuable additions for any player seeking to enhance their island's appeal.

Legendary Beasts: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune

While these three legendary Pokémon are registered in your Pokédex after completing the "Brighten Things Up!" request, they can also inhabit your island if found on a Dream Island. Raikou can be found on Ocean Dream Island (Pikachu) within a room enclosed by metal blocks. Entei resides on Volcanic Dream Island (Arcanine) in an area surrounded by lava rocks, and Suicune is located on Wasteland Dream Island (Eevee) within an ice-themed chamber. These Pokémon are typically found deep within caves on these islands, identifiable by cracked, breakable brown rocks. The chance of encountering them is low, and finding them may require numerous island visits. Using a specific Pokémon doll, such as Pikachu, Arcanine, or Eevee, increases the chances of finding the corresponding legendary beast. Alternatively, Ditto or Substitute dolls can lead to random islands.

The Legendary Birds: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres

Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres can be encountered by building their respective large structure kits, which are found on pedestals in Palette Town. These kits require specific materials and Pokémon to complete. For Articuno's "Freezing Chambers," you'll need stone, ice, crystals, Pokémetal, and specific Pokémon types. Zapdos' "Abandoned Power Plant" requires copper ingots, iron ingots, sea glass fragments, bricks, Pokémetal, and certain Pokémon. Moltres' "Altar of Flame" needs copper ingots, gold ingots, lava stone, Pokémetal, and specific Pokémon. After construction and meeting the Pokémon within, they will register in your Pokédex but will require a dedicated habitat or house to become permanent residents.

Mythical Encounters: Mew and Mewtwo

Mew can be unlocked by discovering all the mysterious slates and placing them in the Unown shrine located underground in the Withered Wasteland. The shrine is accessible by breaking a sandstone wall northeast of the Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center.

Mewtwo can also be found on a Dream Island, likely after completing the "Rebuild the Huge Building!" request. To find it, use a Dragonite doll to visit a Sky Dream Island, or a Ditto or Substitute doll for a random chance. Mewtwo is located in a cave within an industrialized-looking section of the island.

Special Requests and Events

Volcanion can be recruited after completing the "Time to Party!" request. To achieve this, you must host another party by purchasing a new cooking pot, gathering specific curry ingredients, and ensuring a high mood level. Following the curry preparation, build and launch a firework using a crafted cannon. Volcanion should appear during the party.

Kyogre is registered in your Pokédex after the "Yawn up a Storm!" request. While it may appear and cause rain, it is too large to live on the island. Similarly, Lugia and Ho-oh are not permanent island residents. Lugia appears after registering the three legendary birds and crafting the Tidal Bell. Ho-oh appears after registering the three legendary beasts and crafting the Clear Bell. Both require specific items made from rare Pokémetal and feathers to summon.

DLC Additions: Phione and Manaphy

The Bubbly Basin DLC introduces Phione and Manaphy. Phione can be found on the DLC's Dream Island, accessed with the Starmie doll, within underwater ruins in a deep cave. Manaphy becomes a resident after clearing the main story of the Bubbly Basin DLC and completing the "Build the beautiful building!" request. Despite its appearance, Manaphy will need a designated home or habitat to be properly settled on the island.
