Hoyoverse, the studio best known for the popular action RPG Genshin Impact, has unveiled its latest project: Nodus Fall. This new title is a multiplayer souls-like game, and its initial trailer, shown at Gamescom 2026, made no secret of its significant inspirations, particularly FromSoftware's 2022 hit, Elden Ring. Several scenes within the Nodus Fall trailer closely resemble visuals from Elden Ring, including a boss enemy that bears a strong resemblance to Malenia, Blade of Miquella, one of Elden Ring's most challenging adversaries. Details regarding Nodus Fall's release date and available platforms have not yet been announced. However, based on Hoyoverse's previous releases, PC is anticipated to be among the debut platforms.
