Ikumi Nakamura, founder of Unseen studio and creator of the upcoming demon-hunting action game Kemuri, has extended a public invitation to Elon Musk to attend a closed testing event during Tokyo Game Show. Nakamura made the request via a post on X, expressing a desire to invite Musk to the studio's experimental event in Tokyo and to discuss Unseen.

Nakamura shared a four-panel comic depicting a past encounter with Musk at the 2019 Game Awards, the same year she departed Tango Gameworks to eventually found Unseen in 2021. Kemuri, Unseen's debut title, was showcased with a trailer at The Game Awards 2023 and received further attention during a recent PlayStation State of Play. The game features a mechanic where players absorb powers from defeated demons, which are then represented as distinct outfits.

The developer's outreach to Musk has drawn a mixed reaction from fans, with some expressing concern due to Musk's controversial public statements and online activity. In response to these concerns, Nakamura stated she was interested in determining if Musk shared a similar "OTAKU" passion. This explanation did not alleviate the apprehension of some commenters, who urged her to disassociate from the tech mogul.
