Four women have accused actor Jared Leto of criminal sexual conduct, according to a report by the BBC. The women allege that the incidents occurred when they were teenagers, during a period between 2002 and 2016. At the time of the alleged offenses, Leto, now 54, was in his 30s and 40s.

The accusations are featured in a BBC documentary titled "Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret." The documentary includes testimony from 10 women, nine of whom are sharing their stories publicly for the first time. The BBC stated that they were unable to obtain a response from Leto despite multiple attempts to contact him.

This is not the first time Leto has faced allegations of sexual impropriety. Last year, nine women made similar accusations, which he denied.

Leto is known for his roles as the Joker in Zack Snyder's "Justice League," Morbius in Sony's Spider-Man Universe, and Skeletor in the recent film "Masters of the Universe." He also won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2014 for his role in "Dallas Buyers Club."

Prior to the release of "Masters of the Universe," director Travis Knight described Leto's portrayal of Skeletor as "the embodiment of toxic masculinity."

In 2017, reports emerged of Leto sending unusual gifts and messages to his "Suicide Squad" co-stars. Adam Beach, who played Slipknot, told E! News that Leto sent Margot Robbie, who played Harley Quinn, a box containing a live rat and a love letter. Will Smith, who starred as Deadshot, reportedly received a letter with bullets, while the entire cast received a dead hog and a video of Leto in character as the Joker.
