KFC China has unveiled a new menu item that blends fast food with a popular cookie: the Oreo Original Recipe Chicken Burger. This unusual creation involves a standard fried chicken patty and lettuce, but is topped with brown mashed potatoes that are dusted with cookie crumbles. The sandwich is served between two buns flavored with Oreo cookies.
The collaboration between KFC and Nabisco, the maker of Oreo, follows KFC China's earlier introduction of fried chicken-flavored Oreo cookies. The Oreo Original Recipe Chicken Burger is currently only available in the Chinese market, with no immediate plans announced for its release in other regions, such as the United States.
This burger joins a series of unconventional Oreo flavor variations from Nabisco, which have previously included Post Malone-themed cookies featuring salted caramel and shortbread cream, Mario-themed Oreos, and Ritz-flavored Oreos.
