Netflix has released a new trailer for "Lego One Piece," a two-part special that revisits the early exploits of the Straw Hat Pirates with a distinctive brick-built aesthetic. The special features the same voice cast as the live-action series and appears to condense the initial story arcs, even showing a fast-forward effect as it progresses from the East Blue saga to the Drum Island arc. This adaptation seems to be framed as a narrative retold by Usopp, offering a recap of events ahead of the third season of the live-action "One Piece" show, which is slated for release next year. "Lego One Piece" is set to debut on September 29.

In addition to the Lego special, Netflix also shared a teaser image for "The One Piece," a new anime remake produced by WIT Studio, known for its work on "Spy x Family" and "Attack on Titan." This adaptation aims to provide a more faithful rendition of the manga, omitting filler content present in Toei Animation's long-running anime. "The One Piece" is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in February 2027. The third season of Netflix's live-action "One Piece" series is also expected to arrive in 2027.

Further expanding the "One Piece" franchise, a new video game titled "One Piece Grand Gourmet" has been announced. This restaurant management simulation, developed by Kairosoft, the studio behind "Game Dev Story," will be available on mobile platforms, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and Steam on October 23.
The original "One Piece" manga, authored by Eiichiro Oda, is currently over 1190 chapters strong. Oda has indicated that the extensive narrative is beginning to approach its conclusion, with the story expected to wrap up within the next few years. Toei Animation's anime adaptation is also adjusting its production pace, aiming for 26 episodes or fewer per year. Despite the eventual end of the manga and anime, the influx of new projects suggests a sustained period of content for "One Piece" fans.
