The LEGO Group is expanding its collaboration with The Pokémon Company, revealing five new building sets that will launch later this year. These new additions include figures of Munchlax, Arcanine, and the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza, alongside two trainer-centric sets.
Munchlax, the pre-evolution of the Generation 1 icon Snorlax, will be released on August 1. This set features the Pokémon on a tree stump surrounded by apple cores. Also arriving on August 1 is a detailed build of Arcanine, a Fire-type Pokémon from the Kanto region, comprising nearly 1,200 pieces.
Rayquaza, a Legendary Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Emerald, is also set to join the collection. Its set depicts the dragon soaring above the Sky Pillar, a significant location from its debut game. This build includes a minifigure of Lorekeeper Zinnia, a notable trainer associated with Rayquaza's lore, marking a shift in Lego's approach to including trainer figures in its Pokémon line.
Two additional sets are scheduled for release on October 1. The "Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball" is a large Poké Ball structure that contains minifigures of Professor Oak, a Picnicker, and Red, along with figures of Pikachu and Eevee. This set is the most extensive, with 2,339 pieces and a price of $299.99. Complementing this is a large-scale, nearly foot-tall figure of Trainer Red, offering a new way to display a beloved character.
These new sets join an expanding array of Pokémon merchandise released throughout 2026, a year marking significant milestones for the franchise. All five sets are currently available for pre-order on Lego's official website. The Munchlax, Arcanine, and Rayquaza sets will be available starting August 1, while the Poké Ball and Red figure sets will launch on October 1.
