LEGO has announced a new buildable model of the iconic Star Wars character Boba Fett, designated for builders aged 18 and over. This age rating is not due to mature content but rather the set's intricate design and its intended purpose as a display piece rather than a children's toy.
The 75455 Boba Fett set features the bounty hunter in his appearance from Return of the Jedi. The completed model stands 41cm (16 inches) tall and includes detailed elements such as Fett's Beskar armor, Z-6 jetpack, EE-3 carbine rifle, flamethrower, concussion rockets, whipcord launcher, and assorted rocket launchers. A notable detail is Fett's tattered fabric cape, adding to the model's authenticity. Alongside the posable Boba Fett figure, the set also includes a Boba Fett minifigure and an information plaque.
This release follows other complex LEGO Star Wars characters aimed at adult collectors, including the 1138-piece C-3PO and the 2319-piece Chewbacca, both also rated 18+. LEGO's range of adult-targeted sets is extensive, with the company's website listing 209 sets currently available for purchase under the 18+ designation as of June 2026. These sets span various themes, from home decor and agriculture to elaborate pop culture recreations and functional models.
The new LEGO Boba Fett set is scheduled to be available starting August 1, with a retail price of $169.99 USD, £149.99 GBP, or €169.99 EUR.
