The upcoming live-action Legend of Zelda film, slated for release on April 30, 2027, has reportedly cast Uli Latukefu as Ganondorf, the legendary antagonist. Latukefu is known for his roles in "Young Rock," "Black Adam," and "MaXXXine."

In addition to Ganondorf's casting, the film is also said to feature a role from the late Sam Neill, who filmed his part prior to his passing last month. Dichen Lachman, recognized for her work in "Severance" and "Altered Carbon," is reportedly set to portray Impa, while Yvonne Strahovski of "The Handmaid's Tale" fame is slated to play a queen. Previously revealed cast members include Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Zelda.

While official confirmation from producers Nintendo and Sony is still pending, these details have emerged from reports by Deadline, building upon earlier news from The New York Times' Kyle Buchanan regarding Latukefu's casting. The exact game or games from the series that the film will adapt remain unconfirmed, though the impending release date suggests further details will be shared soon.
