The mobile otome game Love and Deepspace is set to introduce a new character, Valko, who will arrive on July 9. Valko is described as the EonCore Tech Chairman and the mysterious head of a werewolf clan. His addition coincides with the launch of a new romance storyline and the availability of new Companions. The publisher, Infold, teased Valko's character with a description hinting at his predatory nature, stating, "A creature of fangs and claws hides within the concrete jungle. The wind stills, the grass bows, as he awaits the perfect moment to go for the throat—then your figure suddenly enters his sight."
Valko's debut is part of the game's Version 6.0 update, titled "A Shattered Quiet." The announcement has generated significant enthusiasm within the game's community, with players drawing parallels to werewolf lore and even speculating about potential inspirations from K-pop idols. Online discussions have included "Love and Furspace" comparisons and Twilight-inspired memes.
Love and Deepspace was initially released on Android and iOS devices on January 18, 2024. According to AppMagic data from May, the game has surpassed 31 million downloads and generated over $1 billion in user spending. The most recent companion added to the game was Caleb, who was released in January 2025. This marks the first new love interest to be introduced since the game's launch.
