Mario Kart Tour has released a free update today, September 9, that reintroduces courses and gameplay elements from the 1992 Super Mario Kart. The 1.8.0 update adds ten classic courses to the game, allowing players to revisit beloved tracks such as Choco Island, Vanilla Lake, and Ghost Valley in Versus mode.

In addition to the classic courses, players can now interact with item panels that function similarly to the original game, where driving over a question-mark panel dispenses items. The update also introduces two new routes to Mario Kart Tour's Knockout Tour: Turnip Rally and Propeller Rally. These additions are available to all players as part of the free update.
