Marvel Rivals is set to launch its tenth season, titled "Butcher's Blasphemy," on Friday, September 11. The update introduces Gorr the God Butcher as a new duelist character, alongside a fresh event and battle pass.

The season will go live following a maintenance period scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. EDT, which is expected to last approximately two hours. This places the official release time at 7 a.m. EDT.

Specific release times for various regions include 4 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America, 8 a.m. BRT for Brazil, 12 p.m. BST for the United Kingdom, 1 p.m. CEST for Western Europe, 8 p.m. JST for Japan, and 9 p.m. AEST for the east coast of Australia.

Season 10's primary addition is Gorr the God Butcher. The narrative context provided suggests Gorr's arrival is the reason for Loki's current disabled status, as Gorr is depicted as hunting gods. The full scope of his targets beyond Loki remains unclear.

In addition to the new hero, players can anticipate new cosmetic items. The battle pass will feature god-themed skins, while the in-game shop will offer pajama party-themed costumes. A new domination map called God Quarry is slated for release later in the season, on September 24.

Significant balance adjustments are also part of the update. Strategist characters will experience reduced energy generation from healing and damage abilities. Scarlet Witch is set to receive a new ability and passive.

More content is expected to be rolled out before the season's 10.5 update, with further details anticipated as the season progresses.
