A trailer for Metroid Ravenous showcased Samus Aran facing a variety of enemies that drain her energy, hinting at a darker tone for the protagonist. She is heard saying, "It's eat or be eaten," to an adversary with a notable intensity.
Metroid Ravenous appears to be a direct sequel to MercurySteam's 2021 title, Metroid Dread. This announcement follows an earlier leak from a Brazilian ratings board listing that suggested the game's existence. A special edition of Metroid Ravenous will include two new amiibo figures.
