Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is introducing a new aircraft, the Airbus A380, as part of its "Exclusive Series" DLC. This add-on is priced at $74.50, exceeding the base game's $70 cost.
The Airbus A380, a four-engine, wide-body airliner, is the world's largest commercial passenger plane. Currently, fewer than 200 A380s are in service globally, operated by airlines such as Emirates, British Airways, Qantas, and Lufthansa.
Developed in collaboration with iniBuilds, the in-game A380 boasts a highly detailed virtual representation. According to the developers, the DLC features full flight deck modeling, extensive interactive controls, and detailed aircraft systems. Notably, the simulation includes "potable water and waste simulation" and "functional on-board showers" to mirror its real-world counterpart. This "Exclusive Series" DLC will only be available for three months.
