Millie Bobby Brown, known for her roles in "Stranger Things" and "Enola Holmes," has revealed her unusual approach to playing the Grand Theft Auto series, describing it as her favorite video game franchise. She shared in a recent interview that while she is eagerly anticipating the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI, her playstyle deviates significantly from what most players likely employ.
"I follow the rules in GTA," Brown stated on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. "I don't break the rules. I stop at red lights. I never run anyone over." This adherence to traffic laws and pedestrian safety within the game world stands in stark contrast to the typical chaotic gameplay often associated with the series.
When her husband, Jake Bongiovi, questioned her gameplay style, comparing it to The Sims, Brown explained her reasoning. "I'm going to go to the strip club, but I am not going to get drunk," she recounted, illustrating her controlled and methodical engagement with the game's mechanics. This is not the first time Brown has spoken about her gaming preferences; she has previously cited games such as The Sims 4 and Fortnite among her favorites.
Grand Theft Auto VI is slated for release in November, with preorders now available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will launch in $80 and $100 editions, both of which include an auto-renewing GTA+ membership as part of the preorder bonus.
