Capcom has revealed new gameplay details for Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, an expansion that will take hunters to Master Rank. The upcoming content introduces the Boost Bracer, a new hunting action designed to augment the capabilities of all 14 weapon types.

The Boost Bracer system allows players to build energy through aggressive combat. Once sufficient energy is accumulated, players can unleash a Boost Driver attack or utilize weapon-specific actions to activate Boost mode. This state grants access to new combos and amplified attacks, providing hunters with a tactical advantage against formidable new threats.

Footage of Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance represents a game still in development. The expansion is set to arrive in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is important to note that the main Monster Hunter Wilds game will be required to play Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance. The expansion promises new monsters, challenges, evolved hunting mechanics, an unexplored locale, and the continuation of the Expedition Team's narrative.
