The NARUTO Mythos Trading Card Game is officially launching in the United States, with its North American debut set to take place at San Diego Comic-Con. Zvezdar, a hobby and trading card game distributor, will exclusively handle the game's distribution in the U.S. and will be present at the convention to offer attendees early access.

At the San Diego Comic-Con, Zvezdar will host booths where fans can try the NARUTO Mythos TCG through free hands-on demos. Participants in these demos will also receive two special promotional cards and will have the first opportunity to purchase booster boxes prior to the game's official North American release. The first official card set, Konoha Shidō, is slated for pre-release events across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean beginning August 29.

The primary demo booth will be located in the Marriott hotel. Here, players can engage in matches to learn the game's mechanics, which involve assigning character cards to mission cards and triggering unique effects. A key strategic element includes the ability to play character cards face down, enabling surprise ambushes or the expenditure of chakra to transform them into powerful Jutsu.

Attendees who visit the demo booth will receive a grab bag containing a unique Summoning Jutsu promo card, while supplies last. Additionally, at the Rocketship booth on the main convention floor, attendees can purchase booster boxes and card packs. Buying a booster box at this location will also grant an additional promotional card: a Shadow Clone Jutsu variant of a rare card from the first set, also while supplies last.

These promotional cards are of Mythos rarity, a designation reserved for out-of-collection cards obtainable only through special events and tournaments. The game's collection cards feature five tiers of rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Secret Rare, and Legendary. Common and Uncommon cards are available in Normal, Full Art, and Holographic variants, with Full Art cards featuring a transparent text box for expanded artwork and Holographic versions adding enhanced visual effects. Rare cards include puzzle art, where nine cards combine to form a single illustration, and Rare Art variants with distinct backgrounds and micro-engravings. Secret Rare cards boast a gold finish and holographic patterns, while Secret Variants offer unique color schemes. The rarest cards, Legendaries, are uniquely numbered and embellished with 22-karat gold foil.

Following its Comic-Con introduction, NARUTO Mythos TCG plans a broader North American rollout. A professional competitive program is under development, and a full worldwide release, including Central and South America, is scheduled for November. The next two card sets are also planned, with Set 2, Shinobi Shiren, arriving in Europe in September, and Set 3 set to introduce the NARUTO Shippuden era and the Akatsuki faction.

Zvezdar, founded in 2009, has a track record of success in expanding trading card games across Europe and will leverage this experience for the U.S. market. The game itself is designed and published by Cicaboom, an Italian company specializing in trading card games and hobby products. Tilen Grah, CEO of Zvezdar Toys US, expressed enthusiasm for the U.S. launch, stating, "We're incredibly proud to bring the NARUTO Mythos TCG to the United States. We're proud to partner with IGN for this launch and to showcase the game together at San Diego Comic-Con. After helping build a strong community across Europe, we're excited to work with hobby stores, players, and partners to make NARUTO Mythos TCG a success in the U.S. This is just the beginning of our North American journey."

Retailers interested in stocking NARUTO Mythos TCG can contact distributors through the official website, while players can encourage their local shops to carry the game via an Instagram post. Further updates and news can be found on the game's official social media channels.
