PlayStation Plus subscribers have a limited time to experience nine games that will be departing the service's Game Catalog for Extra and Premium tiers. These titles are scheduled to be removed on August 18, leaving subscribers only a few weeks to dive into them.

The list of games exiting the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog includes Bomber Crew (PS4), Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (PS5, PS4), Dead Island 2 (PS5, PS4), Earth Defense Force 6 (PS5, PS4), Harold Halibut (PS5), Onee Chanbara Origin (PS4), Roki (PS5), Space Crew (PS4), and Unicorn Overlord (PS5, PS4).

Among the departures, Dead Island 2 stands out as a significant title. After a lengthy development period, the game was released in 2023, offering a blend of action and survival with a focus on humor and violence. Players can engage in character buildcrafting within its post-apocalyptic setting.

Harold Halibut is also highlighted as a noteworthy exit, particularly for fans of point-and-click adventure games. The title is recognized for its distinctive, hand-crafted art style and world design, which reportedly took years to develop.

While these games are leaving, PlayStation Plus subscribers can currently access other titles. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, For the King 2, and CrossCode are available to all subscribers. The Game Catalog for Extra and Premium members has also seen additions this month, including Rise of the Ronin and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Further additions are expected on July 28, with two more PlayStation Classics, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy, becoming available for Premium subscribers.

Sony is also set to announce the next slate of monthly free games for all PlayStation Plus subscribers in August next week, which will be available starting August 4.
