Nintendo and Hasbro are joining forces to launch a substantial new line of The Legend of Zelda action figures, slated for release in 2027. This collaboration marks a significant expansion of collectibles for the beloved franchise, coinciding with the upcoming live-action film and the series' 40th anniversary celebrations.

The new collection will feature six-inch scale figures, offering fans a detailed way to bring iconic characters into their homes. The first three figures from the line are set to be unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, which runs from July 23 to July 26. While not officially confirmed, it is widely anticipated that Link, Zelda, and Ganon will be among the initial character releases.

Hasbro has described the partnership as a "multi-year collaboration," suggesting a broad range of toys and collectibles will be introduced over time. Billy Lagor, president of Hasbro toys and board games, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating that the collaboration aims to "deliver toys that invite fans to play, explore and forge their own epic adventures" by merging Nintendo's storytelling with Hasbro's expertise in action figures and role-play.

Further details regarding the specific figures and the scope of the toy line are expected to emerge from San Diego Comic-Con. The announcement comes as The Legend of Zelda franchise continues to celebrate its 40th anniversary, which began earlier this year on February 21, marking the original Japanese release date of the first game in 1986.

This action figure line follows a series of recent and upcoming Zelda-themed releases. These include a Lego set depicting a key battle from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a vinyl release of the Breath of the Wild soundtrack scheduled for September, and the live-action film adaptation, which has a release date of April 30, 2027. A remake of Ocarina of Time was also recently announced by Nintendo.
