Nintendo has officially revealed the The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 console and Pro Controller, confirming earlier product photos that circulated online. The announcement came during a recent Zelda-focused Nintendo Direct broadcast, which provided the first official look at the upcoming special edition hardware and confirmed a release date of October 29.

The special edition Nintendo Switch 2 console boasts a golden Triforce design on one side of its dock. The console unit itself is accompanied by black and teal Joy-Con controllers, each also featuring Triforce patterns. Complementing the console, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller: The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition shares the black and teal color scheme. It includes a golden Triforce design on the central part of the controller, with gold shoulder buttons and triggers. Both the console and controller also feature a special Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary logo, which incorporates a small NES-era Link icon.

Pricing details for the special edition hardware are yet to be announced. The same Nintendo Direct also provided updates on other Zelda-related news, including the upcoming live-action Legend of Zelda movie.
