The Palworld franchise is set to grow with the announcement of Palworld Online, a new mobile MMORPG currently slated for a 2026 release. Developer Garena is creating the game under a licensing agreement with Palworld developer Pocketpair and will also handle its publication for iOS and Android devices.
Palworld Online aims to translate the "depth, freedom, and scale" of the original Palworld into a mobile-first experience. Garena has stated that the game will feature new, original story content alongside MMORPG staples such as a "seamless, interconnected open world." Cooperative and competitive elements, mirroring those found in the main game, are also planned. A first look at the game has been shared, showcasing a single screenshot.
Garena president Terry Zhao confirmed that the company is collaborating closely with Pocketpair on the project. To cater to mobile players, Palworld Online will incorporate a "streamlined, touch-friendly interface" and offer one-tap control options. More details about the game are expected to be revealed at a later date.
This mobile expansion follows the recent launch of Palworld's 1.0 edition, which saw a significant increase in player engagement. The main game achieved over 500,000 peak concurrent users on Steam during a recent weekend.
