Palworld's breeding system has enabled players to discover a potent exploit that allows certain Pals to repeatedly use an explosive attack without suffering any consequences. This development centers around the Implode skill, which normally incapacitates the Pal using it.
A player on X, formerly Twitter, known as @gn02759909, showcased this discovery with a video demonstrating a Tocotoco Pal that could detonate itself to defeat an enemy boss, only to emerge from the blast unharmed. Tocotoco, a bird-like Pal, naturally possesses the Implode skill, which risks the creature's life to unleash a powerful explosion. This skill has an upgraded form, Megaton Implode, which deals even greater damage.
The key to this "infinite bomb" strategy is the Heavily Armored passive skill. This passive trait grants immunity to explosion damage, which effectively negates the self-inflicted damage from Implode and Megaton Implode. This allows the Pal to continuously use its explosive abilities without incapacitating itself.
Building on this breakthrough, another player, @AllbonesJones, has outlined a plan to create an even more powerful version dubbed the "infinite monkey nuke." This concept involves breeding both the Megaton Implode skill and the Heavily Armored passive onto the Pal Gorirat. Gorirat, being a Neutral-type Pal like Tocotoco, would receive a damage bonus for using Neutral-type skills such as Megaton Implode.
Furthermore, Gorirat possesses the Partner Skill Full-Power Gorilla Mode, which can temporarily boost its Attack stat by up to 200%. A Gorirat equipped with the Heavily Armored passive and the Megaton Implode skill, combined with its Attack-boosting Partner Skill, could potentially deliver devastating, repeatedly self-inflicted explosions without any negative repercussions for the Pal itself.
