Indie musician Phoebe Bridgers has released a browser-based game titled "Lost Boys," following the music video for her single of the same name. The game, playable on Bridgers' official website, centers around the motorcycle-riding elf persona featured in the video.
The gameplay is straightforward, tasking players with using the arrow keys to collect coins while navigating obstacles such as goblins and walls of fire. The experience is characterized by low-poly visuals and a chiptune rendition of the "Lost Boys" track, which is also available as a downloadable ringtone.
The "Lost Boys" music video itself garnered attention for its inclusion of footage from the MMORPG Old School RuneScape. The video features actor Skyler Gisondo, known for his role as Jimmy Olsen in the upcoming Superman film, playing the game. This move places Bridgers among other celebrities who have publicly acknowledged their interest in video games and specifically created content referencing them.
