A player known as 新月 has become the first to complete all 1,000 levels of Splatoon Raiders' "Bottomless Buffet" mode, a feat that apparently yields no in-game reward beyond standard experience and item drops. The "Bottomless Buffet" is an "endless" mode designed to test players' survival skills against increasingly difficult waves of enemies, requiring a specific number of Power Eggs collected from kills on each floor before a timer expires.

While the mode is theoretically endless, it caps at 1,000 floors. 新月 documented their attempts to clear the final floors, 998, 999, and 1000, in a YouTube video. The strategy employed involved using a build that groups enemies together for massive damage, combined with gadgets like the Speed Tank, Jump Bomb, Torqscrew, and Blast Boot. The Jump Bomb with modifiers increases aerial maneuverability, the Torq Screw pulls enemies into a central pile while also propelling the player upwards, and the Blast Bomb freezes them. This technique, though appearing chaotic, proved effective, with 新月 clearing the final floor with 11 seconds remaining on their timer.

Despite the significant accomplishment, the celebration was confined to the in-game chat. The player received no unique title, costume, or even a dialogue acknowledging their achievement. The only rewards were the standard experience points and rare weapons typically gained from completing difficult floors. This lack of a distinct reward suggests there is little incentive for players to push through to the 1000th floor, a task described as brutal and thankless for anyone other than the first to achieve it. Players are advised that the "Bottomless Buffet" indeed has a definitive end, and reaching it offers no special recognition.
