A new collaboration brings together the world of Pokémon and instant photography with the release of three themed Polaroid Now Generation 3 instant cameras. These cameras, inspired by iconic Pokémon designs, are now available for preorder.
The collection features three distinct camera designs. One camera sports a Pikachu theme, distinguished by its yellow color and a lightning bolt tail detail. Another model is inspired by Sylveon, presented in pink and white with a ribbon-like strap. The third camera evokes the classic Poké Ball design with its red and white color scheme.
These cameras utilize Polaroid's Now Generation 3 I-Type Instant Film Cameras, which are known for their substantial build and ability to produce full-size Polaroid prints immediately after taking a photo. Polaroid states that this model includes "optimized exposures for sharper pictures." The cameras are also equipped with a self-timer, a tripod mount, and a battery life sufficient for 15 film packs.
In addition to the cameras, Polaroid is releasing themed film packs designed to complement each camera's aesthetic. The Sylveon film features a pink border with purple Sylveon and Poké Ball silhouettes. The Pikachu film boasts a yellow border with three small Pikachu illustrations. A standard Pokémon Edition film pack includes various popular Pokémon designs.
These cameras and film packs are compatible with Polaroid i-Type and 600 film. Availability appears limited, and due to high demand, interested buyers are advised to secure their preorders promptly. The cameras can be found on Amazon, the Pokémon Center, and Polaroid's own retail channels.
