Niantic is commemorating a decade of Pokémon Go with a special 10th Anniversary Party event. The in-game celebration brings with it a set of dedicated research tasks and event-exclusive bonuses designed to immerse players in the festive spirit. A new costume Pokémon will also be available for trainers to catch during this limited-time event.
The anniversary marks a significant milestone for the augmented reality title, which first launched in 2016. The event aims to honor this decade of gameplay with activities and rewards that appeal to both long-time players and newcomers alike. Specific details regarding the research tasks, their rewards, and the nature of the new costume Pokémon are expected to be revealed as the event draws closer. Players are encouraged to participate to experience all the celebratory content.
