Pokémon Go Fest: Global returns in 2026, offering players worldwide a free in-game event from Saturday, July 11, to Sunday, July 12. The event will run daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time, with a central focus on the release of Mega Mewtwo in both its X and Y forms.

Event Bonuses and Perks

The event provides several bonuses and perks accessible to all players without a ticket. These include increased Pokémon spawns, a higher chance of encountering shiny Pokémon, and Zeraora's Special Research. Timed Research will also be available, rewarding trainers with Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y.

Other benefits include Lure Modules lasting for one hour instead of 30 minutes, Incense attracting regional Pokémon and Unown, and Party Play being active for up to nine hours. Players can also look forward to Global Challenges that, if completed hourly, can unlock temporary bonuses such as triple Stardust and candy from catching Pokémon, and 10x XP. Additionally, players will receive up to nine free raid passes daily from spinning Gym discs and are allowed up to six special trades per day. The Stardust cost for trading will be halved. Evolving or catching certain Pokémon during the event may also grant them legacy moves.

For players seeking additional advantages, the deluxe version of the "Road to Legends" Go Pass, priced at $19.99, offers perks like increased candy gains from raids.
