The "Wish Upon a Jirachi" event is now live in Pokémon Pokopia, offering players the opportunity to obtain the mythical Pokémon Jirachi and its accompanying habitat. The event, which runs from June 23rd to July 8th, also introduces a collection of new star-themed items available for purchase.
To participate, players must have rebuilt at least one Pokémon Center. Upon starting the game during the event period, a notification will announce a notable Pokémon in town. Following this, a decorated Pokémon Center will feature Jirachi nearby. Interacting with Jirachi will grant players the recipe for Wish Notes, a currency essential for the event's activities. After this initial interaction, Jirachi will establish a shop within the Pokémon Center, where players can exchange Shining Wish Notes for exclusive merchandise.
Acquiring Shining Wish Notes
Shining Wish Notes are earned by fulfilling requests from other Pokémon within Pokopia during the event. The process involves crafting a Wish Note at a workbench, using a recipe obtained from Jirachi. Players then speak to Pokémon with speech bubbles above their heads, who will present a request. Upon fulfilling this request, such as providing Oddish with a Shredded Salad, the Wish Note is returned and transformed into a Shining Wish Note.
Creating Jirachi's Habitat
Jirachi's habitat in Pokopia is called "Surrounded by Stars." To construct it, players need to acquire four specific items: a Jirachi Lamp (which must be lit), a Starry-Sky Bed, a Cloud Table, and a Star Closet. All these items are available for purchase from Jirachi's shop within any rebuilt Pokémon Center using Shining Wish Notes. A total of four Shining Wish Notes are required to collect all four habitat items, making it one of the more accessible habitats introduced in recent events. It is important to note that Jirachi cannot be moved into its habitat while the event is active, as it is occupied with running its shop.

The event shop, located inside every rebuilt Pokémon Center, offers a variety of star-themed items. Each item has a specific Shining Wish Note cost:
