Despite being officially retired, the LEGO Icons Transformers Bumblebee set remains in stock on Amazon. The set is available at its original retail price of $89.99, with no additional markup. This availability presents a potential last opportunity for collectors to acquire the retired set at its MSRP.
The LEGO Icons Transformers Bumblebee set combines elements of both LEGO construction and Transformers functionality. The 950-piece model can be assembled as a detailed brick-built robot, standing over 9.5 inches tall in its Autobot form. It also features transforming mechanics, allowing it to be converted into a vehicle mode that measures just over 3 inches high. The set includes an informational plaque detailing Bumblebee's functions and statistics.
For those interested in further LEGO Transformers builds, the Decepticon Soundwave set is also available on Amazon, currently on sale for $163.99, a reduction of $25 from its retail price. This larger set comprises 1,505 bricks and includes brick-built Ravage and Laserbeak figures. Notably, the Soundwave set incorporates voice and sound effects, a feature previously uncommon in LEGO sets before the introduction of SMART Play bricks.
