A selection of episodes from Seth Green's animated Star Wars sitcom, Star Wars: Detours, will be publicly exhibited at the forthcoming Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles. The announcement was made by Green during a panel discussion about the museum at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Green described the project as an effort he undertook with George Lucas to create "The Simpsons in the Star Wars universe." The series, titled Detours, will feature a curation of episodes displayed within the museum's theater.

First announced at Star Wars Celebration in 2012, though discussions began as early as 2010, Star Wars Detours was shelved following Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm that same year. Clips from the series were shown at its 2012 reveal, but it had not been seen publicly since. In late 2013, Green confirmed to IGN that 39 episodes had been completed before the show was put on hold.

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is scheduled to open on September 22. The museum will feature two theaters, the Robert Flaherty Theater and the Slavko Vorkapich Theater, which will present curated film selections throughout the day.
