For those who have ever wondered what it's like to be inside a Poké Ball, a new collaboration in Japan will soon offer a unique hospitality experience. The nap-tracking app Pokémon Sleep has partnered with Japanese firm Not a Hotel to create a lodging opportunity where guests can sleep within a giant, Poké Ball-shaped pod.

The accommodation features a large, spherical room designed to look like a half-open Poké Ball. The interior is dominated by a spacious spherical bed, and includes a window. The design aims to let guests roleplay as a Pokémon residing within the iconic capture device.

Interested individuals will have an opportunity to enter a lottery to secure a stay. The lottery is set to open on September 15. The Poké Ball pods will be located in Hokkaido, Japan.

This unique lodging experience is tied to the Pokémon Sleep app, which focuses on tracking users' sleep patterns. The next major entries in the Pokémon series, Pokémon Winds and Waves, are scheduled for release next year.
