Artist and musician Murlo is set to release Something Beautiful, a music-driven point-and-click adventure game that evokes the unsettling atmosphere of a forgotten CD-ROM. The game plunges players into a "socially fractured industrial estate" where they must solve puzzles presented by fleshy, anthropomorphic creatures.

Gameplay appears to involve interacting with these strange beings in unique ways. One puzzle mechanic involves stamping pucks emanating from a creature's body at the correct time, while another features glowing parts of a leg, the purpose of which remains unclear. The game's environments also reference Murlo's own discography through in-game books, and at certain points, players may even control a human character.

Murlo promises a deep integration of music within the game world, including interactive music puzzles and what are described as "Flesh Disk" jukeboxes. The overall aesthetic is described as disorienting and Lynchian, aiming to provide a unique, surreal experience. While a release date for Something Beautiful has not yet been announced, it is available to wishlist on Steam.
