Sony has announced two consecutive State of Play broadcasts scheduled for September 3rd. These streams will offer a glimpse into upcoming PlayStation 5 games from both PlayStation Studios and third-party partners.

The first broadcast is set to begin at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 3 PM CEST / 10 PM JST. It will feature updates and announcements from a variety of developers. The stream will conclude with an extended preview of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation. Immediately following this, a new episode of State of Play Japan will air.

State of Play Japan will be hosted by Yuki Kaji and will focus exclusively on games developed by studios in Japan and Asia. Viewers can anticipate trailers and gameplay footage from these regional developers.

This announcement comes as the PlayStation release calendar for the remainder of the year remains packed. September alone is set to see the launch of the PS5-exclusive Marvel's Wolverine, alongside titles such as Control Resonant, NBA 2K27, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Looking ahead to October, releases like Hellraiser: Revival, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and Final Fantasy Resonance are slated. November is also a significant month, notably featuring Grand Theft Auto 6.

Beyond these announced titles, fans may also hope for a closer look at other anticipated PS5 exclusives, including Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and God of War Laufey, the latter of which could represent one of the final first-party PS5 games to receive a physical edition.

Both State of Play broadcasts will be available to watch live on Sony’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
