Fortnite's Chapter 7 Season 3 is concluding with a substantial content drop in patch v41.30, headlined by the return of Spider-Man. The update introduces a variety of collaborations and new items, extending the season's offerings as players anticipate the next chapter.
Downtime for the patch began on July 30, and early data mining revealed extensive additions. Alongside the anticipated limited-time event featuring The Simpsons, which also brings John Wick and The Continental Hotel to the new Reload map in Springfield, the update includes musical artist Lil Tecca as a new icon for Fortnite Festival Season 15. Players can unlock Lil Tecca cosmetics by progressing through the festival season.
Spider-Man's Return and New Cosmetics
The most significant collaboration is the return of Spider-Man, tied to "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." Spider-Man cosmetics are slated to appear in the Item Shop on July 31. While players await the new skin, the Spider-Man Web-Shooters have been temporarily unvaulted. These can be acquired from an in-game Spider-Man NPC located in The Battlewoods POI or by finding returning Spider-Man's Backpacks loot containers.
Patch v41.30 also adds new sprites and variants, including Holofoil and Cube versions for the Reaper and Zero Point sprites. Players can also obtain the Lootin' Llama, Peeky Peely, and Quack sprites. To expedite the collection of these rare sprites, the Sprite Master track offers rewards, including the Lucky Locator Gizmo, which increases the spawn rate of undiscovered sprites in chests.
Beyond these additions, the update includes more Story Quests, a story event, dedicated Spider-Man Power Hours, and a multitude of new emotes, skins, and sidekicks. The full details of the patch can be found in the v41.30 patch notes.
