Stardew Valley is making its debut in Magic: The Gathering with the upcoming 'Superdrop of the Moonlight Jellies,' featuring three distinct Secret Lair drops. This collaboration was announced at MagicCon: Amsterdam on July 17.
The collection is set to launch on July 27, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT via the Secret Lair website. Non-foil editions of the Secret Lair x Stardew Valley sets will be available at WPN game stores at a later date.
Wizards of the Coast has revealed details and artwork for some of the cards, including a land card simply titled 'Stardew Valley.' This card, featuring art by the game's creator ConcernedApe, allows a player to tap a creature, create a Food token, and then give another player control of a target permanent under their control. This mechanic is designed to echo Stardew Valley's gift-giving system and foster player interaction.
Another featured card is 'Puca's Mischief,' a Lucky Purple Memento foil card. This card enables players to exchange a nonland permanent with another player, provided it has an equal or lesser mana value.
Several bundle options are available for purchase. The 'Grandpa Would Be Proud Everything Bundle' includes all three drops in both non-foil and foil editions, priced at $219.99 USD. The 'Prismatic Shard Foil Bundle' contains only the foil editions of the three drops for $129.97 USD. Lastly, the 'Traveling Cart Non-Foil Bundle' offers the non-foil versions of the drops at $99.97 USD.
Individually, the 'Secret Lair x Stardew Valley: Welcome to Stardew Valley' set includes the 'Stardew Valley' land card, 'Mermaid's Pendant' (Wedding Ring), 'Pierre's Truce' (Dawn's Truce), 'Swords to Plowshares,' 'Rites of Flourishing,' 'The Welcoming Committee' (Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis), 'Sol Ring,' and a Food Token. The non-foil version is $39.99 USD, and the foil version is $49.99 USD.
The 'Secret Lair x Stardew Valley: Life in Pelican Town' set features 'Crop Rotation,' 'Community Center' (Fountainport), 'Pelican Town' (Homeward Path), 'Tower of Rasmodius' (Command Tower), and 'Valley Farmstead' (Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth). It costs $29.99 USD for non-foil and $39.99 USD for foil.
Finally, the 'Secret Lair x Stardew Valley: A Flicker in the Deep' set includes 'Royal Serpent' (Atsushi, the Blazing Sky), 'Big Slime' (Mitotic Slime), 'Arcane Signet,' 'Galaxy Sword' (Sword of Forge and Frontier), 'Treasure Vault,' an Ooze Token, and a Treasure Token. This set is priced at $29.99 USD for non-foil and $39.99 USD for foil.
This collaboration marks Stardew Valley as the latest non-Magic property to be integrated into the franchise, continuing Magic: The Gathering's trend of cross-brand collaborations.
