Stardew Valley is making its debut in Magic: The Gathering with a series of limited Secret Lair drops set to release later this month. Revealed at MagicCon: Amsterdam, these three sets, part of the "Moonlight Jellies" Superdrop, aim to capture the diverse aspects of life within the popular farming simulation game, from cultivating crops and forging friendships to battling monsters in the mines.

A new card titled "Stardew Valley" will be introduced to Magic: The Gathering, featuring artwork by Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe. This card is designed to evoke the game's "daily rituals of food, favors, and finding the right gift at the right time." The three distinct drops are themed as "Life In Pelican Town," celebrating the familiar locations that bring the valley to life; "Flicker In The Deep," which explores the dangers and treasures lurking beneath the surface; and "Welcome to Stardew Valley," focusing on the experience of starting anew amidst crops, relationships, recipes, and magical challenges.

The "Welcome to Stardew Valley" set includes cards such as Stardew Valley, Wedding Rings (reimagined as "Mermaid's Pendant"), Dawn's Truce as "Pierre's Truce," Swords to Plowshares, Rites of Flourishing, Kynaois and Tiro of Meletis as "The Welcoming Committee," Sol Ring, and a Food Token. The "Life in Pelican Town" set features Crop Rotation, Fountainport as "Community Center," Homeward Path as "Pelican Town," Command Tower as "Tower of Rasmodius," and Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth as "Valley Farmstead." Lastly, "A Flicker in the Deep" includes Atsushi, Blazing Sky as "Royal Serpent," Miotic Slime as "Big Slime," Arcane Signet, Sword of Forge and Frontier as "Galaxy Sword," Treasure Vault, an Ooze Token, and a Treasure Token.

These limited-quantity Secret Lair drops will be available for purchase starting July 27 at 9 a.m. PT/Noon ET. The non-foil versions will be priced at $29.99, with the foil editions costing $39.99.
