Stern Pinball has announced the release of new pinball machines inspired by Bethesda Game Studios' popular Fallout RPG series and the recent Prime Video adaptation. The new machines are available in three tiers: the Pro Edition for $7,299, the Premium Edition for $10,699, and the Limited Edition for $13,999. Global production for the Limited Edition is capped at 770 units, a number that references the in-game lore of Fallout's Great War in 2077.
The pinball tables feature characters such as Lucy MacLean, The Ghoul, and Maximus. A central on-table Pip-Boy serves to display game mode information and can be used by players to interact with in-game computer terminals. Other familiar Fallout iconography present on the playfield includes Vault Boy, Power Armor, Nuka-Cola, and Vault suits.
Key mechanical features on the Premium and Limited Editions include the Fat Man multi-axis pinball launcher, which utilizes a combat mechanic inspired by the video game's V.A.T.S. system to launch balls toward a target gallery. The playfield also incorporates a Nuka-Cola Bottle Cap spinner with unique mechanical movement, an inverted upper flipper designed for innovative play, a Mechanical Vault Blast Door that opens to reveal an underground area, and a Deathclaw bash toy. A lower playfield on these models is powered by "Magna-Flip" magnetic technology for dynamic kinetic action.
Players can advance their character's S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats up to level 10, unlocking exclusive game modes specific to each of the three featured characters. The machines support Stern's Insider Connected platform, allowing players to carry their progress across multiple play sessions. To further celebrate the intellectual property, the machines integrate footage from both seasons of the Fallout TV series, alongside content directly from the video games. Custom voice callouts are provided by actor Johnny Pemberton, who voices Thaddeus in the TV show.
This announcement follows the successful renewal of the Fallout TV series for a third season by Amazon, which will include new cast members Aaron Paul and Manny Jacinto and will explore a new in-universe location.
