Capcom is releasing a line of Street Fighter 6-themed fragrances in mid-October through a collaboration with Japanese company CODE Meee. The Gaming Fragrance brand will offer three distinct scents, each designed to embody the gameplay and signature moves of characters Ingrid, Ed, and Juri.
CODE Meee stated that the fragrances are not mere interpretations of character aesthetics but rather aim to represent the experience of playing as them and utilizing their special abilities. Both Ingrid's and Ed's fragrances are citrus woody blends. Ingrid's scent, formulated with grapefruit, leafy green, rose, jasmine, cedarwood, amber, and musk, is intended to "enhance clarity in stock accumulation and release timing." Ed's fragrance, featuring bergamot, clove, spearmint, rosemary, vetiver, and amber, is crafted to "let you throw out counter pokes without getting whiff-punished."
Juri's fragrance is a fruit-forward blend with notes of raspberry, passionfruit, violet, blueberry, strawberry, and musk. This scent is described as being "crafted to make your hit-confirm feels razor-sharp," aligning with the brutal South Korean martial artist's playstyle.
Street Fighter 6 game director Takayuki Nakayama expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting that the fragrances could aid players in focusing on specific character mechanics, such as Juri's Fuhajin special move or her Feng Shui Engine super. Nakayama remarked that the scents are designed to "dramatically deepen your sense of unity with the characters you love," providing both the focus needed for extended gaming sessions and a refreshing sensation to cool down after intense matches. He also highlighted the attractive package art for each scent.
Each fragrance is priced at 6,850 yen (approximately $43) and is scheduled to ship in mid-October. The product includes a wood diffuser along with the fragrance oil.
