Rebel Wolves has confirmed that The Blood of Dawnwalker will receive a 60fps performance mode on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X via a day one patch, following player feedback regarding the initial console performance options. The studio had previously revealed footage showcasing a 30fps Quality Mode and a 40fps Balanced Mode, both targeting a dynamic 4K resolution. The absence of a 60fps option drew criticism from the player base.

In response to the community's concerns, Rebel Wolves stated on X that the Performance Mode was in development but had not yet completed testing for a confident launch-day promise. "Performance Mode was already in the works, but it was still being tested. We simply weren't ready to promise it yet," the developer explained. "We heard your feedback. It was clear how much this mattered to many of you, so we focused on finishing the next round of tests. Those results gave us the confidence we needed to confirm Performance Mode for Day one."

The new Performance Mode will target 60fps on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X. The PS5 Pro will offer additional visual enhancements beyond those on the standard PS5 and Xbox Series X. However, the Xbox Series S will be limited to 30fps.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is scheduled to release on September 3rd for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is a vampire action role-playing title that features a 30-day in-game time limit as a core gameplay mechanic and narrative device.
