From Software will host a closed network test for its new game, The Duskbloods, in August, offering players an early opportunity to experience the title before its official launch. Registration for participation will open on July 22 and conclude on July 28.

The test is scheduled to run from August 21 to August 23 and will feature eight-player multiplayer sessions. To be eligible, participants will need a Nintendo Switch 2 system and an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

According to From Software, the network test will focus on several key areas, including server load, multiplayer problem-solving, and overall game balance. While the exact scope of the playable content remains unclear, the test presents a valuable chance to assess The Duskbloods' multiplayer-centric design, which marks a departure from the studio's traditional single-player RPGs. The game is slated for release in 2026, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2.
